Thought For The Day

Live simply,Love generously,
Care deeply,Speak kindly.......
Leave the rest to God
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass...
It's about learning to dance in the rain.

Sunday

We started the day with french toast and (of course) Sports Reporters. I love the show. They help me catch up on what's going on in Sports and give a wide variety of commentary. I especially like John Saunders, Mitch Album, Mike Lupka & Bob"Whatisname from Boston". After that we hit Walmart before the crowd did. Not bad. Russ went to work (ugh). I thought about it but since it probably wouldn't do as much good there as my being away from there would do for me, I didn't. I may be a wimp but 45 hours (avg) a week is too much for me. Dr A-S would just have to write a little note and I could get out of it but I guess I'm stubborn. I've made it this far, although it's obviously taking it's toll, I'd like to hang in as long as I think I can without letting it get me too far down.
For anyone who doesn't know, I have been approved for Intermittant FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act). That means that when I have to be out for any reason related to Lupus, it doesn't count against me at work and if I'm out on Short Term Disability, they have to give me a comparable job when I get back. I guess with the Insurance Portability Act, that makes two things I have to thank B Clinton for. I guess you can find good most everywhere.
I'm taking a break. I've been making meatballs ahead and now I'm going to make something else for the week. It makes life during the week a lot easier. I wonder what everyone else is doing today....
