Saturday

Today is the boys' day. Every year the girls help with the Thanksgiving turkey and dressing and the boys and I make Christmas cookies and decorate them. Today it's cookies.

Russ got the Christmas decorations from the attic, we bought a tree and tore up the living room. That's about where we are now. (I can't stand to be in the living room, it looks so awful right now.)

Today we'll get the tree set up and do whatever decorating we're going to do and the boys will help decorate the tree.

I'm looking forward to having them. This is Adam's first year because he is now 5. Jackson has a few years to go yet. Kenzie and Lauren had their first time with the Thanksgiving this year (also 5) so it won't be too long before Becca will be joining.

I love traditions.
